WHO ARE YOU?
Hi! My name is Bodie and I run a small, handmade clothing business based on Gadigal Land under.
My name, Bodie, comes from the Celtic warrior “Bodicia ” (also spelt Boudicca, Boudicia), a feminist ICON, very much worth a read if you get the chance.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CLOTHES!
The pieces I sell are all made from recycled fabrics or dead-stock fabrics. When lockdown’s aren’t imposed, I love to source from Op-shops and places like Reverse Garbage in Marrickville. My main focus for the pieces I make is to keep my waste as low as possible.
To do this, I have kept all of the off-cuts from designs since I started selling my handmade clothes in December last year. I aim to use these off-cuts to create one-off, unique ‘scrap’ pieces and also to use the smaller scraps for cushioning for pillows. In the future, I’d like to have more of a focus on refurbishing and rethinking second-hand clothes, rather than creating new ones.
